Winston is a former Omega Point member. He has the power of superelasticity, meaning he can stretch out any part of his body.

Biography

Shatter Me

After Adam Kent is taken away from Juliette Ferrars, she faints. Juliette awakens to Winston and he asks her questions about herself, like her eye color, to which Juliette responds that she doesn't know. She nicknames him "Blondie," to which he becomes indignant. Juliette quickly assess his friendship with Brendan, his genius intellect, and his need for coffee on a regular basis.

Unravel Me

Winston helps Alia design Juliette's suit, and possibly her knuckle braces. Winston and Brendan are kidnapped. In the end, they are rescued, but Omega Point is bombed, leaving them with no home to return to. They take refuge with Kenji Kishimoto, Adam, Castle, and the other surviving members of Omega Points at Adam's home.

Ignite Me

When Juliette returns to Adam's house with Kenji after he found her by the rubble of Omega Point with Aaron Warner, he opens the door to let her in, stunned. He defends Juliette's plan to take down The Reestablishment, and is one of the first to agree to suffer teaming up with Warner to do the job.

Restore Me

Winston and Brendon continue to grow closer before the Symposium when Brendan is shot. Brendan survives, and their friendship continues. Winston reveals himself to Kenji, telling him of his deep affections for Brendan, but is afraid he doesn't reciprocate them.

Shadow Me

Kenji encourages Winston to reveal his true feelings for Brendan. Kenji is the only one who knows how Winston feels. Winston has been in love with Brendan for a long time, but he's worried he's too old for Brendan. He also worries that if Brendan turns him down it will ruin their friendship.

Defy Me

Imagine Me

Winston flees to the Santuary with the rest of the remaining members of Omega Point, where he helps create a plan to finally and totally destroy The Restablishment. He finally exposes his feelings to Brendan, who, to his surprise, does in fact feel the same way.

Believe Me

Winston and Alia worked to make Juliette's wedding dress, but Kenji accidentally ruined it. They have an art studio at the Sanctuary.

Personality

Winston seems to be an awkward character who does his best to try and help and apparently has a background in psychology. He wishes that he could help out more, despite being intelligent and having a unique ability. Juliette claims that she thinks Winston is some sort of genius but she isn't sure. Later on, Winston is friendlier with Juliette and has a brave side to him. It's unusual to see Winston nervous according to Kenji. He can't seem to survive without coffee.

Appearance

Winston is described with sandy-blonde hair and a crooked nose. Winston also has black plastic glasses and is said to be between twenty and thirty years old.

Special Abilities

Flexibility: Winston is able to contort and change his body at will, unhinging his joints without any resistance. This is first shown when Juliette asks what his ability is, considering that everyone at Omega Point seems to have a special ability.

Relationships

Brendan

Winston and Brendan start off as friends, and their relationship develops into a romantic one. After the symposium, they become inseparable. Winston occasionally resents Brendan’s natural happiness and energy. Winston is very protective over Brendan's feelings. In the second half of Imagine Me, after Brendan reassures Warner he's an attractive dude, Winston finds the courage to tell him how he feels. Later on, Kenji sees that Winston has confessed his affection for Brendan, and that his feelings are returned. Kenji attempts to congratulate them, and is quickly silenced by a warning but pleased expression on Winston's face.

Alia

Alia and Winston are close friends. They work together to design and create clothes and tools to help others with their abilities.

Trivia

• When Omega Point members snuck out to the compounds, Winston's name was Keith Hunter, age 34.
• Winston does not think that his powers are "cool" or "useful." However Juliette disagrees strongly.
• Winston thinks coffee is disgusting, but drinks it in order to stay awake throughout the day. He says he needs at least three coffees to be even half awake.
• Winston has a background in psychology.
