Delalieu Warner is the grandfather of Aaron Warner and the father of Leila Warner.

Delalieu has been part of The Reestablishment from the very beginning. He was originally assigned to Sector 45 by Paris Anderson and has since been ordered to remain there until he's no longer able.

Delalieu informs the group after Juliette and Warner’s kidnapping that they remain safe at Sector 45 headquarters for a week. He tells them that he’s committed to helping them while they plan their escape. He also informs the group that he’s Warner’s grandfather. Delalieu goes on to reveal Anderson, Warner, and Juliette's history and his role in it.

Personality[]
Delalieu is a very understanding person toward Aaron and he always tried to understand the situation. He still spends most of his time in Warner's presence cowering in fear, but somehow he has no interest in overthrowing his position. He knew when to put his foot down and when to cut it off. Though in Destroy Me, there was a moment where he smiled to Warner. The man that convinced Warner to try coffee and got excited and happy when he agreed after a lot of convincing.
Despite being significantly older than Warner, Delalieu has never aspired to more than what he has. He somehow seems content to die just as he is now. He chose to remain subservient, even when Warner gave him opportunities, promotions, and even higher pay. Delalieu fears he’s stayed silent for too long. His breaking point is when Juliette and Warner are kidnapped by The Reestablishment. He reveals a deep well of anger he's buried over the years. Delalieu says that his greatest regret in life has been watching Juliette and Aaron suffer and doing nothing about it. Delalieu readily admits he was a coward.
Appearance[]
Delalieu is at least sixty-four years old. He has grey hair and watery, green eyes. He has a thin build. In previous memories, Delalieu had thinning brown hair. Nothing about him is threatening.
Relationships[]
Aaron Warner[]
Warner has known Delalieu his whole life. He used to see Delalieu around his family's house, sitting in on the many meetings that took place in the years before The Reestablishment took over. While Warner appreciates Delalieu’s loyalty, his dedication unnerves him. He feels like he should not trust him, and yet he does. Even though they are related, they never acknowledge it. Their relationship is one of General and Lieutenant. After Anderson's death, Delalieu is the only kind of father that Warner has left.
Paris Anderson[]
Paris is Delalieu's son-in-law. Delalieu said that he and Anderson were at the same rank at first but after Delalieu doubted Anderson's tactic of ruthless parenting Delalieu dropped in rank until he was Anderson's Lieutenant.
